There are so many side quests Hogwarts heritage , some of them chain together and do not even appear until you have completed the correct requirements. Defeating a curse is one of these quests. How to unlock it and complete it.
Step 1: Unlock the quest by playing Summoner’s Court
Take the side quest Summoner’s Court: Match 1 ( after the Map Chamber quest ) and defeat Leander Prewett.
After that you can accept the side quest “Beeting a Curse” from Samantha Dale.
Step 2: Talk to Samantha Dale in the greenhouse
Talk to Samantha Dale to find out where you need to go next.
The game will provide a marker for the grave in question, and it’s pretty close.
Step 3: Go to the Dale Family Tomb southeast of Hogwarts
Go to the Dale family tomb southeast of Hogwarts (picture above).
After entering the tomb, turn left and cast Confringo/Incendio on the vines (or just use Lumos) and slide down the chute. You will face a troll enemy ( More tips on how to defeat any type of troll can be found here ): Defeat it and continue down the path. Interact with the grave and off you go!
Note that this tomb is part of the achievement/trophy “Intrepid Explorer” , which tasks you with discovering all Cairn dungeons.
Step 4: Return to Samantha Dale at Hogwarts
Go back the way you came, and then look to the left. Climb up the platform and enter the small hole in the wall: this is how you exit the tomb (since the slide is a one-way slide).
Go back to Samantha Dale at Hogwarts (her position may shift slightly, but it’s still the same Floo Flame spot) and turn in the quest. This is it!
